Nastia has cancelled her upcoming tour in the United States and vows to not play in the country until the US government "fundamentally change[s]" its policies on Ukraine.

The Ukrainian DJ and producer shared a video and written statement on her social media, yesterday, 19th October, reacting to US president Donald Trump and his government's recent block on sanctions on Russia and ongoing tension with Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky. She said she planned to announce a North American tour with US dates today, 20th October.

"The recent decisions by the Trump administration — easing economic pressure on Russia, pursuing energy deals that benefit the aggressor, restricting critical military technology used by Ukraine and pressuring Ukraine while Russia continues its attacks — have crossed a line I cannot ignore", she wrote in the Instagram caption.

"I know most of you don't care, and lots of you actually hate me for being political," Nastia said to begin her video statement, "but as Ukrainian artist, following the latest policies and politics of the United States towards Ukraine, and actually the rest of the world, made me feel like I need to cancel all of my upcoming shows in the United States, which were just about to be announced... I will no longer accept American bookings until its politics and the policies of the administration are fundamentally changed towards Ukraine and other parts of the world which get really affected by it". She said the possibility of performing in the US would be a "betrayal".

Nastia underlined her commitment to being "unapologetically" "outspoken" on her beliefs and asked for fans' "understanding": "I really hope for your support because it hurts my heart", she said.

"Music has never existed outside politics for me. And being an artist does not mean remaining silent when fundamental principles are being violated," she wrote. "I cannot change the decisions of the US government. But I can decide where I stand, what I accept, and what I am willing to participate in."

"My solidarity with Ukraine is not negotiable."

In 2022, Nastia gave a candid keynote interview at International Music Summit Ibiza about Russia's war on Ukraine.

In June, Nastia released the four-track 'TECH041' EP on her Kyiv-based TECHNO label.
